Seal-Guard^® 24/7 Stone Impregnator provides unequalled protection of stone surfaces against oil- and water-based stains, moss, efflorescence and alkaline substances, preserving the natural appearance and beauty of stone surfaces. The product is invisible after application, does not change the appearance of the treated surface and does not leave any (hardened) residue. In addition, the treated surface will not fade, stain, discolour, peel off, etch or yellow. Seal-Guard^® 24/7 Stone Impregnator also allows the treated surface to breathe.

Use

Apply to all stone surfaces, including marble, granite, slate, sandstone, limestone, architectural concrete, brick, stone, stucco and exposed aggregate, etc. Prevents chewing gum from sticking to stone surfaces.

Directions for application

Try the product in an inconspicuous spot first to determine its suitability for the intended use. Do not apply to surfaces at temperatures of 8 °C or below. Always make sure the surface is clean and free of dust and any previously used sealants or waxes. Existing stains must be removed before applying the sealer. Apply with a brush, roller or pressure sprayer. One good coat will usually be sufficient. However, we recommend applying two coats to highly porous or heavily trafficked surfaces. Allow the first coat to dry for five hours before applying the next coat. The normal drying time on marble and granite is about 20 minutes. Buff before completely dry. A drying time of at least eight hours is recommended before allowing traffic on the treated surface. For optimal protection, allow the product to cure for 24 hours.

Maintenance

To clean treated surfaces outdoors, use a garden hose with a pressure nozzle or a pressure washer with a maximum pressure of 70 bar. Indoor surfaces can be easily cleaned with a mop or a soft cloth or sponge and a mild detergent or water. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents such as scouring powders, ammonia, acids, bleach, solvents or scouring pads.

Life expectancy

If treated surfaces are cared for properly, Seal-Guard^® will remain effective for many years. However, heavily trafficked surfaces should be checked annually and, if necessary, recoated.

Packaging

Available in 1-litre and 5-litre containers (12 x 1 litre per box) (4 x 5 litres per box).

Coverage

1 litre will cover approximately 8-40 m², depending on the porosity of the treated surface and the application method used.

Storage/shelf life

Keep tightly closed in the original container, in a cool and dry place. If stored correctly, the product can be kept for six months after the packaging has been opened. Do not allow to freeze.
